Conducting interviews can be challenging, especially when you're juggling note-taking and evaluating candidates in real-time. Kula’s Interview Notetaker and Interview Assistant are designed to streamline this process, allowing you to focus on assessing candidates while automated tools take care of the details.

Interview Notetaker

The Interview Notetaker is a powerful feature in Kula that automatically records key points during interviews, freeing you from the task of manual note-taking.

  1. Before your interview, ensure that the Interview Notetaker feature is activated for your session. This is typically set by the recruiter

  2. Once the interview begins, the Notetaker will join the Interview meeting and automatically start capturing key discussion points, responses, and comments made during the interview.
  3. After the interview, the Notetaker will compile a summary of important points. You can access these notes by navigating to the Interviews page.

  4. Each option will give you details based on the Interview. You can click on the Copy to clipboard button to copy the summary.
  5. While the Interview Notetaker captures the core points, you can still add any personal observations or specific notes. Simply go into the notes section to add your notes. You can mark it as Public (visible to the Hiring team) or Private (only visible to you).

Interview Assistant: Maximizing Candidate Assessment

Once your interview is completed, the Interview Assistant can help you review and answer questions based on the conversation. This feature ensures that you have all the necessary information to make informed decisions and provide comprehensive feedback.

  1. After the interview, navigate to the interview’s record in Kula.
  2. If you have any additional questions or need clarification on specific aspects of the interview, you can ask the Interview Assistant. Type your question into the chat, and the Assistant will retrieve relevant information from the interview summary.

Note: Use the Interview Assistant to review detailed responses from the candidate. It can help you locate specific answers or comments that are important for your evaluation.
