How to Filter and Sort Requisitions

The Requisitions page lists all hiring requests in your organisation. You can search, filter, and sort requisitions to quickly find the ones you need. You can also switch between grid view and list view and customize visible columns to focus on the information that matters most.
This article is for recruiters, hiring managers, and administrators who manage requisitions in Kula.
Searching Requisitions
To search for a requisition role name:
Click Jobs & Requisitions in the left navigation menu.
Click Requisitions in the submenu.
Click the Search by ID, role name field at the top of the page.
Type your search term. The list updates automatically as you type.
Note: The search matches only requisition ID and role name, not other fields like department or hiring manager.
Filtering Requisitions
Opening the filter panel
Click Jobs & Requisitions in the left navigation menu.
Click Requisitions in the submenu.
Click Filter in the toolbar above the requisition list. The filter panel opens on the right.
Setting a filter
Open the filter panel.
Click a filter field. Available filters include:
Status
Requisition type
Associated job
Department
Office
Work type
Recruitment partner
Hiring manager
Created by
Created at
Target hire date
Target start date
Choose an operator: Include any or Exclude all.
Select one or more values from the dropdown. The requisition list updates automatically.
Note: Status values include: Draft, Pending approval, Approved, Not approved, Ready to open, and Open.
Adding multiple filters
Open the filter panel.
Click a second filter field and configure it as the first.
Each active filter combines with others, showing only requisitions that match all criteria.
Active filters appear at the top of the filter panel.
Clearing filters
To remove a single filter: Click the X next to the filter.
To clear all filters: Click Clear all at the top of the filter panel.
Sorting Requisitions
Click Sort in the toolbar above the requisition list.
Select a sort option:
Created date (Descending): Most recently created requisitions first (default).
Created date (Ascending): Oldest requisitions first.
Days open (Highest first): Requisitions open the longest appear first.
Days open (Lowest first): Most recently opened requisitions appear first.
Note: Sorting applies to all requisitions that match your current search and filters.
Switching Between Grid and List View
The Requisitions page offers two layouts:
Grid view: Compact cards showing requisition ID, role name, status, department, office, and days open.
List view: Full table with additional columns.
To switch views:
Click the grid view icon or list view icon in the top-right toolbar.
Note: The selected view is preserved while on the Requisitions page. Navigating away may reset it to default.
Customizing Columns in List View
In list view, you can show or hide columns. The Req ID column is always visible.
Switch to list view.
Click Columns in the toolbar.
Toggle columns on or off. Available columns include:
Role name
Status
Requisition type
Associated job
Department
Office
Work type
Salary
Hiring manager
Days open
Target hire date
Target start date
Created at
Filled at
The table updates immediately.
Note: Column settings apply only to the current session and may reset when navigating away.
