The External Collaborator permission introduces a refined set of permissions for external recruiters, ensuring they can efficiently manage their candidates while maintaining security and confidentiality in the hiring process. This article outlines the specific permissions and restrictions applied to external agency users.

Core Permissions

External agency users have the following key capabilities:

  • Candidate Management: Can add candidates to jobs.

  • Limited Candidate Control: Can manage only the candidates they have added or are credited to.

  • Communication & Scheduling: Can send emails and perform specific actions, including:

    • Scheduling interviews

    • Sending assessments

    • Requesting reviews

  • Stage Updates & Rejections: Can update candidate stages and reject candidates as necessary.


Visibility Restrictions

To ensure data security, external agency users are restricted from accessing certain areas of the system:

  • Offer Management Restrictions:

    • Cannot create or view offers.

    • Cannot view offer details, offer-related emails in conversations, or offer documents in files.

  • Limited Job View:

    • Cannot access the dashboard, job boards, or activity feed tabs within a job.


Candidate-Specific Access

External agency users can only view candidates they’ve personally added. Their access includes:

  • Candidate Details:

    • Resume

    • Candidate information

    • Forms

    • Conversations

    • Notes

    • Files

    • Activity feed (excluding offer-related content)

  • Pipeline & Candidate Tabs: Can view candidates they’ve added in the Pipeline and Candidates tabs.
