The Job Analytics module in Kula provides a comprehensive view of the performance and status of all job requisitions, whether open or closed. This powerful tool allows you to track each job posting's journey from creation to the final hiring decision, offering key metrics and visualizations to optimize recruitment strategies, identify trends, and make informed decisions.


Key Metrics Overview:


  1. Jobs Opened: The total number of job postings created within a specified timeframe, helping you track your recruitment activity and hiring needs.
  2. Target Date Breached Jobs: Identifies jobs that have exceeded their target closing date, highlighting areas where the hiring process may need improvement.
  3. Jobs Closed: The number of job postings successfully filled and closed, indicating recruitment effectiveness.
  4. Time to Close: Measures the average time it takes to fill a job from the day it was opened, providing insights into the efficiency of the hiring process.

Key Visualizations:

  • Job Open Trend: A bar chart showing the number of jobs opened over time, helping identify fluctuations and trends in recruitment.


  • Jobs Opened by Department: A pie chart illustrating job openings across various departments, offering insights into which teams are most active in hiring.


  • Jobs Opened by Location: A pie chart visualizing the geographical distribution of job openings, enabling an understanding of regional hiring needs.

Basic Analysis With Filters:




To customize the report, you can use the following filters:

  • Job Name: Focus on individual job postings to analyze performance for specific roles.
  • Job Type: Filter by full-time, part-time, or contract positions.
  • Job Status: View data based on whether the job is open or closed.
  • Primary Recruiter: Evaluate the performance of individual recruiters.
  • Primary Hiring Manager: Analyze the impact of specific hiring managers on job performance.
  • Department: Filter by department to understand trends within different parts of the organization.
  • Location (On Job): View job openings by their geographical location.
  • Job Close Reason: Understand why a job was closed, whether due to successful hiring or other reasons.


Advanced Data Analysis:


The "Jobs Breakdown" section offers two powerful filtering options:

  • Group By: Organizes data by key elements such as recruiter, hiring manager, department, and job location, allowing for a focused analysis.

    • Primary Recruiter: Group data based on the recruiter managing the job postings to evaluate individual performance and identify trends in recruitment activity.

    • Primary Hiring Manager: Analyze job performance by the hiring manager to understand their impact on the hiring process and track their effectiveness.

    • Department: Segment data by department to see how different areas of your organization are handling job postings and closing positions.

    • Location (On Job): Organize data by job location to identify geographic trends and assess the distribution of job openings across different regions.

  • Breakdown By: Adds another layer of segmentation to the grouped data, refining insights by job name, job status, department, and more.

    • None: View data in its aggregated form without additional breakdowns for a broad overview.

    • Job Name: Break down grouped data by specific job postings to analyze performance metrics for individual roles.

    • Job Status: Segment data by the current status of job postings, such as open, to understand how different statuses affect job performance.

    • Primary Recruiter: Further refine the data by the recruiter’s name to assess their specific contributions and recruitment outcomes.

    • Primary Hiring Manager: Analyze how different hiring managers influence job performance within the grouped data.

    • Department: Add departmental segmentation to your analysis to see how job postings perform within specific departments.

    • Location (On Job): Break down data by job location to understand how geographic factors impact job performance and recruitment outcomes.

These filters allow for detailed exploration of job data, helping refine recruitment strategies.


Timeframe Customizations


To help you analyze job performance effectively, Kula offers flexible timeframe options for viewing your data.



  • Yesterday: View data from the previous day for recent hiring activities.
  • 7 Days: Review weekly data to spot short-term trends.
  • 30 Days: Analyze monthly recruitment performance.
  • 3 Months: Assess quarterly hiring trends.
  • 12 Months: Gain long-term insights into job performance over the past year.
  • Custom: Specify your own date range for tailored analysis, ideal for specific projects or campaigns.


These timeframe options allow you to monitor hiring trends and adjust strategies based on historical data.


Exporting & Scheduling:


Kula makes sharing and distributing reports easy with the following features:

  • Download as PDF: Save a neatly formatted PDF version of your report by clicking the "More" button in the top-right corner and selecting "Download as PDF." This is ideal for distributing reports to stakeholders.
  • Schedule Email: Automate report distribution by scheduling emails to specific recipients at predefined intervals. This feature ensures that your team remains informed without manual effort.


These functionalities help streamline communication and ensure that critical job data is always accessible to the right people.
