After an interview is conducted, reviewing the candidate's responses and performance is crucial for making informed hiring decisions. Kula's platform offers a streamlined process for reviewing interviews, with features like automated notes, AI assistance, and scorecards.

How to Review an Interview as an Interviewer

  1. Navigate to the Interviews page from the main dashboard.
  2. You’ll see a list of all previously conducted interviews.
  3. Click on the interview you wish to review.

Reviewing the Interview Summary

Once you've selected an interview, Kula will automatically provide an overview:

  • Candidate Summary: A high-level recap of the candidate, summarizing key details.
  • Question and Answer Breakdown: A detailed list of the questions asked and the candidate's responses.
  • Topic Highlights: Key points discussed during the interview, highlighting important areas of focus.
  • Recruiter Screen: A visual representation of the recruiter's perspective during the interview.
  • Highlights & Lowlights: A summary of the strengths and areas of concern identified during the interview.

Viewing the Transcript

For a more in-depth review, you can access the full transcript of the interview:

  • Click on the Transcript tab to view a complete text version of the interview.
  • Scroll through to revisit exact answers or conversation flow.

Completing the Scorecard

  • Kula will prompt you to fill out the Scorecard for the candidate.
  • The platform offers AI assistance, which can help fill in some of the fields. However, certain sections will require manual input to ensure accuracy.

Tip: Manually rate specific questions to ensure you provide your final judgment on the candidate's performance.

Using the Interview Assistant

Kula offers an Interview Assistant feature to help you analyze the interview further:

  • Open the Interview Assistant.
  • Ask specific questions related to the interview, and the assistant will provide tailored responses based on the candidate’s answers.
  • Example: You can ask, “How did the candidate respond to the question about teamwork?” and receive a detailed summary.

Best Practices and Tips

  • Double-Check AI Suggestions in the Scorecard: While Kula’s AI can fill out portions of the Scorecard, always double-check its suggestions, especially for subjective questions. AI might provide initial ratings, but only you can ensure the final assessment reflects your professional judgment.

  • Use the Candidate Summary for Quick Evaluations: The Candidate Summary is a great starting point to quickly gauge the overall performance of the interviewee. Use this section as a high-level snapshot before diving into more detailed areas like the transcript and question breakdown.
