Last updated: August 16, 2026

How to Connect SpotDraft with Kula
Go to Settings → Organization → Organization integrations.
Find the SpotDraft card under E-signature.
Turn the toggle on.
Complete the connection using the credentials from your SpotDraft account.
How SpotDraft signing works
SpotDraft is different from the other e-signature integrations: the signing experience and the candidate email both live on the SpotDraft side.
You send the offer email through the SpotDraft integration from Kula.
The candidate and the company signer complete signing inside SpotDraft.
Accept and decline status for both parties flows back to Kula in real time over webhooks, and is shown on the candidate's profile.
The final signed document is saved automatically in both the Files section and the Offer stage.
For the full flow, see [Send an offer for signature]
Supported signing workflows
Company signer → Candidate
Candidate → Company signer
Signing order is set in your SpotDraft workflow or contract type, not in Kula.
Good to know
You cannot edit the candidate email from Kula. The subject and body come from your SpotDraft workflow or contract type's own email settings. This is the main difference from PandaDoc, where the candidate message is edited in Kula.
Signing order is configured in SpotDraft, not in Kula's e-signature settings.
Signing itself happens on the SpotDraft side. Candidates are not signing inside Kula.
FAQ
Why can't I change the offer email wording for SpotDraft the way I can for PandaDoc? SpotDraft owns the candidate email template. The subject and body come from the workflow or contract type configured in SpotDraft, so any wording change is made there rather than in Kula.
Where do I set whether the candidate or the employer signs first? In SpotDraft. Unlike the other e-signature integrations, signing order comes from your SpotDraft workflow or contract type rather than Kula's e-signature settings.
