  • Click Score breakdown to understand how each attribute contributes to the overall score.

Make sure each attribute reflects the actual job requirements.

Test AI Scoring (Recommended)

Before saving, test AI Scoring with a sample résumé.

  1. Click Next.

  2. Select a résumé for this role.

  3. Review the candidate score and attribute breakdown.

This step helps you validate whether the scoring logic matches your expectations.

You can:

  • Click Skip test and Save to enable scoring without testing.

  • Go back and refine attributes if needed.

Auto-Reject Threshold

Screenshot 2026-02-26 at 5.03.35 PM.png

Set a minimum score threshold for automatic rejection.

For example, you can:

  • Set a threshold of 28

  • Automatically reject candidates scoring below that value

We recommend reviewing scores manually at first. This helps you build confidence in AI accuracy before enabling auto-rejection.

FAQs

What is Advanced AI Scoring in Kula?
Advanced AI Scoring evaluates candidates using customised, weighted attributes that you define. It assigns a score based on how well a candidate matches your Ideal Candidate Profile (ICP) and job requirements.

When can I configure Advanced AI Scoring?
You can configure AI Scoring while creating a new job or from an existing job under SettingsJob InformationSet up AI Scoring.

What is an Ideal Candidate Profile (ICP)?
An Ideal Candidate Profile (ICP) is a description of the skills, experience, education, and qualities you want in a candidate. Kula AI uses your ICP to generate scoring attributes automatically.

Can I edit the attributes generated by AI?
Yes. On the Verify Attributes page, you can edit attribute names or descriptions, drag and reorder attributes to change their weight, and review the Score breakdown to understand attribute impact.

How does attribute weight work?
Attributes higher in the list carry more weight in the final score. You can drag and reorder attributes to prioritize what matters most for the role.

Is it mandatory to test AI Scoring before saving?
No. Testing is recommended but not required. You can test scoring with a sample résumé or click Skip test and Save to enable AI Scoring without testing.

How does AI calculate a candidate’s score?
Kula AI compares each résumé against your configured attributes and the job description. It assigns a numerical score and provides a summary explaining the candidate’s strengths and gaps.

What is an Auto-Reject Threshold?
An Auto-Reject Threshold is a minimum score required for a candidate to move forward. If a candidate scores below the defined threshold, the system automatically rejects them. For example, if you set a threshold of 28, candidates scoring below 28 are automatically rejected.

Should I enable auto-rejection immediately?
We recommend reviewing candidate scores manually at first. This helps you evaluate AI accuracy before enabling automatic rejection.

Can I change the attributes or threshold later?
Yes. You can update attributes, priorities, and the auto-reject threshold at any time from the job’s AI Scoring settings.

Does AI Scoring replace manual review?
No. AI Scoring supports decision-making by providing data-driven insights. You retain full control over candidate evaluation and final decisions.
