Embedding your Kula Career Portal on an external website allows you to seamlessly integrate your job listings and application process into your company's existing web presence.

Embed Your Career Portal

  1. Navigate to Settings > Career page and job boards > Career page Settings
  2. Scroll down to the Career Page Embedding section
  3. You can choose between two options:
    • Job List Only: This option will display only the list of open positions.
    • Full Page: This option will display the entire career portal, including job listings, company information, and any other sections you have configured.
  4. In the same section, you will see a field labeled Allowed Domain. Enter the URL of the website where you plan to embed your Kula career page. This ensures that the embedded page will only display on authorized domains.
  5. Upon selecting on what you would like to embed, click the Copy icon to copy the embed code to your clipboard.
  6. Go to the content management system (CMS) or HTML editor for your external website.
  7. Locate the section of your website where you want to display the career portal and paste the copied embed code into the appropriate location within your website’s HTML or embed module.
  8. Customize the Appearance (Optional). You may want to adjust the appearance of the embedded portal to match your website's design. This can include:
    • Adjusting the width and height of the embed frame.
    • Customizing colors, fonts, and other design elements to ensure consistency with your branding.
  9. Once you have pasted and customized the embed code, save the changes to your website.

Tips for Embedding Your Career Portal

1. Match the Design with Your Website

  • Customize the colors, fonts, and layout of your embedded career portal to align with your website’s branding. This creates a cohesive look and feel, enhancing the candidate experience.
  • Test different design elements to see what works best with your existing site layout.

2. Optimize for Mobile Devices

  • Ensure that the embedded portal is responsive and looks good on mobile devices. Candidates are increasingly using mobile phones to search for jobs, so optimizing for mobile is crucial.
  • Test the portal on various devices and screen sizes to confirm a seamless experience.

3. Limit the Allowed Domains

  • For security reasons, make sure to only enter authorized domains in the Allowed Domain field. This prevents unauthorized sites from embedding your career portal.

4. Test the Embed Code Before Publishing

  • Before you publish the embedded portal on your live website, test the embed code on a staging environment. This allows you to catch any potential issues and make adjustments without affecting your live site.
  • Check for any load time delays or display issues that might impact the user experience.
