In Kula, you can easily mark a job as confidential to ensure that only authorized users have access to the job details. This feature is especially useful for sensitive roles or high-level positions that require limited visibility within your organization.

How to Mark a Job as Confidential

  1. Start by going to the Jobs page in Kula and click on the job you want to mark as confidential. This will take you to the job's detailed view.
  2. Once you’re in the job view, click the More button located at the top right corner of the screen.
  3. In this menu, you’ll find the option to Mark as Confidential. Click on it, and the job will be marked as confidential.

Once a job is marked as confidential, only users with specific permissions will be able to view and manage the job details. This includes access to the candidate pipeline, job description, and any associated activities.

Use Cases for Confidential Jobs

  • High-Level Executive Searches:
When recruiting for C-suite or other high-level executive positions, it’s often necessary to keep the job confidential to prevent internal or external leaks.

  • Sensitive Positions:
For roles that involve sensitive information or responsibilities, limiting visibility to a select group of users ensures that only those who need to know are involved in the hiring process.

  • Internal Transfers or Promotions:
When planning internal promotions or transfers, marking the job as confidential can help prevent disruptions or rumors before the official announcement.
