Flow Health analytics
Last updated: September 2, 2026
Flow Health is one of Kula's default Reports & Analytics reports. It shows how candidates are engaging with your outreach flows — opens, replies, and interest — in one aggregate, filterable view, alongside which recruiters are driving that activity.
Who can do this: Admin and Super Admin have Reports & Analytics access by default. Whether Recruiter and Hiring Manager roles can see Reports & Analytics (and therefore Flow Health) depends on how roles are configured on your account — this has been a real source of confusion, with at least one account where neither role had reporting access in their navigation at all. If you don't see Reports & Analytics, check with your admin rather than assuming it isn't available to your role.
Where to find it: Reports & Analytics → Flow Health, as a built-in default report. You can also add Flow Health as a block inside a custom report, alongside blocks like Pipeline, Recruiter performance, or Jobs.
What Flow Health shows
Flow Health is built around two views:
Candidate Touchpoint — a candidate-by-candidate look at engagement, showing which candidates have interacted with your outreach flows and their last activity. This is the primary drill-down surface, shown as a bar chart with a table underneath.
User Activity — the same kind of view, broken down by the recruiter or user driving the outreach, so you can see whose sourcing is generating engagement.
The core metrics Flow Health reports on are Open, Replied, and Interested — shown in aggregate for a flow or job, not broken down step-by-step.

Filtering and grouping
Flow Health uses the same filter, group by, and breakdown framework as Kula's other reports (see "Key reporting concepts in Kula Analytics").
Job Name is supported both as a filter and as a Group By option in Flow Health's charts, so you can see engagement broken out job by job rather than only as one organization-wide number.

Drilling down and exporting
Any number in the Candidate Touchpoint or User Activity tables is clickable — clicking it opens a drill-down list with Candidate and Last activity columns, without leaving the report.
From there, you can download the underlying data as a CSV. Like other reports, Flow Health can also be downloaded as a PDF, cloned, or scheduled to email on a recurring basis from the report's menu.
Good to know
Flow Health's metrics are aggregate, not step-by-step. A request to break Open, Replied, and Interested down by individual step (matching what you see inside a Flow's own Steps section) was considered and ultimately not built. If step-level detail matters for your analysis, use the Flow's own performance view instead.
Reports refresh roughly once an hour, not in real time. Very recent outreach activity may take up to an hour to show up in Flow Health.
Candidates still sitting in a Prospect stage may not show up in Flow Health's candidate-based counts. If your numbers look lower than your actual outreach volume, this is worth checking — see Needs Verification above for the exact scope of this behavior.
PDF exports of Flow Health have had a real bug where the downloaded file showed no data, even though the on-screen report had data. If an export comes back empty, try again or contact support.
Downloading the Candidate Touchpoint drill-down as CSV has had reliability issues in the past. If a download fails, retry or contact support.
FAQ
Where do I find Flow Health? Reports & Analytics → Flow Health, or add it as a block inside a custom report.
What's the difference between Flow Health and the performance stats inside a Flow itself? Flow Health is an aggregate, org- or job-level report (Open, Replied, Interested); a Flow's own Steps section shows step-by-step sent/opened/clicked/replied detail for that one sequence.
Can I see Flow Health broken down by job? Yes — Job Name is available as both a filter and a Group By option.
Why don't I see Reports & Analytics or Flow Health in my navigation? Access depends on your role's permissions. Recruiter and Hiring Manager access to Reports & Analytics isn't guaranteed by default on every account — check with your admin.
My Flow Health numbers look lower than the outreach volume I know happened — why? Reports refresh about once an hour, so very recent activity may not have appeared yet, and candidates still sitting in a Prospect stage may not be included in candidate-based counts.
