Rescheduling and cancelling an interview
Last updated: August 18, 2026
Plans change after an interview is already booked. Kula gives you a few ways to handle that, depending on how the interview was originally scheduled and whether you want to pick the new time yourself or let the candidate do it again.
Use these actions from the scheduled interview's menu on the candidate's Interview activity.
Path: Jobs > Candidates > Current stage > Edit/Reschedule/Cancel Interview.
Rescheduling manually
Click Edit interview to change the interview's time, interviewers, or location yourself, the same way you set it up originally.
If your account has the Coordinator Agent turned on, Reschedule with AI does the same thing without you having to work out a new time by hand.
Rescheduling a self-scheduled interview
If the interview was originally booked through a self-schedule link, you'll also see Send additional slots. This cancels the existing booking and sends the candidate a new self-schedule link, instead of you picking a new time for them.
Note: Sending additional slots always cancels the existing booking, even if the interview already happened or the candidate was marked a no-show. In that case, it's recorded as cancelled rather than completed.
Cancelling an interview
Click Cancel interview. Kula asks you to confirm, since this removes the interview from the calendars of the candidate and every interviewer. There's no separate reschedule step here; if you also want a new time, use Edit interview, Reschedule with AI, or send a new self-schedule link instead.
