Careers Page Setup
Last updated: August 5, 2026
Kula gives you several ways to publish your open roles — from a ready-made page to a fully custom build on your own website.
This article lays out the options and helps you pick. To build the page once you've decided, see Set up your career page.
Who can do this: Super Admin, Admin
Where to find it: Settings → Career page
Your options
Option | What it is | Engineering |
|---|---|---|
Kula hosted career page | A ready-made, branded page that Kula hosts. You share the link. | None |
Your site — linked listings | Your jobs show on your website; clicking a role applies on Kula. | Light |
Your site — embedded apply | Your jobs show on your website; Apply opens the Kula form in an overlay. | Medium |
Your site — native form | You build the listing and the application form inline on your site. | Full |
RSS feed | An automatic feed of your published jobs at | None |
The three "your site" options all use the Job Board API — see live examples of each.
Separately, you can also run an Internal Job Board for employees — see the end of this article.
Which one should you use?
Most teams: the hosted page. It's ready now, you brand it, and it needs no engineering. Add the link to your site and you're live.
Put your jobs on your own site only if:
your jobs need to live on your existing careers page, or
they must sit on your own domain, for brand or SEO reasons, or
candidates shouldn't leave your site to apply.
If you do build in, pick the lightest option that meets your need — you maintain whatever you build. Most teams that build in only need linked listings. Get your API token from Settings → API Settings → Copy Token (1000 requests per hour).
If you leave the hosted page, get these two right
Unpublish the hosted page so it doesn't compete with your own site in Google.
Don't paste jobs onto your site by hand. Pull them live from the API or feed — otherwise closed roles keep showing and candidates hit dead ends
FAQ
Do we have to use Kula's career page? No. You can publish your jobs on your own website using the Job Board API, or pull them via the RSS feed. See the live examples.
We built our own page — how do we stop the Kula one showing in Google? Set the hosted career page to unlisted or unpublished. It then drops out of Google's index.
Our site is showing old or closed jobs — why? The jobs were probably copied over by hand. Pull them live from the API or feed so they update as roles open and close.
