Setting up your Working Hours

In Kula, every user can define their working hours, and this in turn allows recruiters to schedule interviews during their availability. This is a crucial step in managing the time spent interviewing and evenly distributing the load among interviewers. The configuration will be used to recommend the best available interviewer when recruiters schedule an interview.

  1. Click on the "Settings" icon that is located at the very bottom of the left-side menu.

  1. Under the "User Settings" section, click on "Working Hours."

NOTE: By default, you will notice that your working days are set to Monday–Friday, and the working hours are set to 9 a.m.–6 p.m.

  1. To override the default configuration, use the toggle button.

NOTE: When the toggle is "ON," it means that you are working on that day, and when it is "OFF," you are sharing that it is your non-working day.

  1. Use the "+" button to set your working hours per day.

NOTE: This allows you to configure multiple personalized available time slots per day instead of the default 9 a.m.–6 p.m. You can also delete a personalized time slot by clicking on the "Delete" icon that appears when you hover over the respective section.

NOTE: If you wish to override the above general available hours schedule, you can accomplish it under the "Date Override" section.

  1. Click on the "Add an override" button > Select a date > Under the "Which hours are you free?" section, select the time slots appropriately.

By default, the toggle will be "ON," denoting that you will be unavailable for the entire chosen date. Alternatively, you can toggle "OFF, and, by using the "+" button, configure multiple available time slots for that chosen date.

You can configure this for multiple date overrides well in advance by simply clicking on the "Add an override" button under the "Date Override" section.

NOTE: If you wish to edit a configured "Date Override" schedule, simply click on the "Edit" button present on it and update accordingly. If you wish to delete a configured "Date Override" schedule, simply click on the "Delete" button present on it.

  2. Save all the configurations successfully by clicking on the "Save" button present in the bottom right corner of your screen.
