Managing Application Forms

Your Kula account comes with a default application form automatically included in all job postings. This form can be customized and used as a starting point for future applications, or you can create entirely new forms and link them to specific jobs.


Customize the Default Application Form

  1. Click the Settings icon at the bottom of the left-side menu.

  2. Under the Jobs & Applications section, click Application Forms.

  3. Select the Default Form.

  4. In the Details section, you’ll find the following fields:

    • Application Form Name

    • Departments

    • Offices

    • Work Type



Note: These fields cannot be edited in the default form. The "Departments," "Offices," and "Work Type" are automatically mapped to all available categories.


  1. Click on the Form section to customize the form content:

    • You can reorder fields in the Personal Information and Profile sections by dragging and dropping them.
    • For each field, choose whether it is Mandatory, Optional, or Hidden.
    • Add a new custom section by clicking Add Section.
    • To rename a section, click the Edit icon, enter the new name, and click Save.
  2. To add a new field:

    • Click Add Field.
    • Fill in the required Field Name.
    • Choose a Field Typefrom the following options:
      • Short Text: Single line of unformatted text.
      • Long Text: Multiple lines of unformatted text.
      • Single Select: One answer allowed.
      • Multi-Select: Multiple answers allowed.
      • Date: Select a date.
      • Number: Enter numbers.
      • URL: Input a web address.
      • Yes/No: Choose between yes or no.
      • Currency: Input currency.
    • Check the Required Field box if the information is mandatory.
    • Click Add to save the field.
  3. Click Update Form to save your changes.

    Note: Custom sections and fields can be deleted. However, the Personal Information and Profile sections are part of the default form and cannot be removed.
  4. To delete a field in a custom section, hover over it and click the Delete icon.
  5. To delete a custom section, click the Delete icon, confirm in the modal, and click Yes, Delete.


How to Add a New Application Form

  1. Click the Settings icon at the bottom of the left-side menu.
  2. Under the Jobs & Applications section, click Application Forms.
  3. Click Add Application Form at the top-right corner.

  1. Follow the same steps outlined above to customize your form.


How to Clone an Application Form

  1. On the Application Forms homepage, hover over the desired form.
  2. Click the Ellipsis (three dots) icon, then select Clone.
  3. Update the form's name as needed.
  4. Click Clone to complete the action.

How to Delete an Application Form

  1. On the Application Forms homepage, hover over the form you want to delete.
  2. Click the Ellipsis icon, then select Delete.
  3. In the confirmation modal, type "DELETE."
  4. Click Yes, Delete to finalize the deletion.
